The futuristic headlights discarded, and fitted with more affordable headlamps. The fog lamp housing was changed to a kind of boxy type. The rearlights have been adjusted with cheaper versions. The 2009 Honda Pilot can seat 8 people spread on 3 rows of seating. The Pilot, as with any other Honda models pursued the vehicle’s safety as its main priority. It had hoped to offer a high level of protection for its riders and passengers. Honda Pilot employs side curtain airbags and dual chamber, front-side airbags and OPDS or Occupant Position Detection System and an active front seat head restraints. This reduces greatly, sever neck injury from collissions in the rear side.
